Foreclosure Expeditors/Initiators, LLC began operations in 1999. Based in Bellevue, Washington, FEI was created to provide superior support services to trustees and other clients with significant mortgage portfolios. Since its inception, FEI's mission has grown to encompass setting a new standard of excellence industry wide.

To help manage growth, FEI has developed and continuously utilizes a sophisticated proprietary database management system linked to a website that permits employees, strategic partners, and clients to access and monitor all files in real time. FEI further developed technology it calls the "Black Box".

Black Box consists of a laptop computer with wireless Internet service and peripheral devices installed in a fleet of 4x4 vehicles. Field personnel are empowered to receive and print documents on the fly, utilize GPS technology for guidance to the subject property, and ultimately create and transmit affidavits complete with embedded color digital images back to FEI headquarters.
